About the Role:
The Project Coordinator will be a key member in our Nicon project management team by supporting the Client and Project Managers with project administrative duties. This position does not require industry experience but does require a strong work ethic and organizational skills..
What You’ll Do:
Assist Client and Project Managers with day-to-day project administrative functions.
Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, timecards, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings
Document and follow up on important actions and decision from meetings
Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
Ensure project deadlines are met
Provide administrative support as needed
Developing project strategies with the Client and Project Managers
Ensure projects adhere to requirements and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
Perform project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk to the project.
Order, track, sort, inventory, and receive materials
Track labor production to ensure milestones are met
Collaborates with the entire organization
Primary liaison between Project Manager and Lead Technicians
Submit access requests for employees and contractors
Manage all Project Folders
Activities as assigned. .
What You'll Need:
Minimum 5 years’ experience.
2 years of experience on construction projects.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Good understanding of building networks.
Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
Good client management and building goodwill.
Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of teams.
Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
Strong focus on quality and safety.
