Straight Truck Driver – Office Furniture Delivery
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Commercial Straight Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will deliver and assist with the installation of office furniture at customer locations while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations, including FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial straight truck to deliver office furniture.
- Load, unload, and transport furniture using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Assist with the assembly and installation of office furniture at customer sites.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a straight truck required.
- Ability to lift and move furniture weighing up to 100 lbs with assistance as needed.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
