Position Summary
GoFresh, LLC is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver to join our team. The Box Truck Driver is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of fresh produce and food products to our customer locations while maintaining exceptional customer service and compliance with all company safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Safely operate a company box truck to deliver produce and food products to customer locations.
· Load, secure, transport, and unload products in a safe and efficient manner.
· Inspect deliveries for accuracy and complete required delivery documentation.
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
· Follow all traffic laws and regulations, company policies, and customer site requirements.
· Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.
· Assist warehouse, loading, and inventory activities as needed.
· Ensure proper handling of perishable products to maintain product quality and food safety standards.
· Handle checks from customers.
· Second runs/transfers/reloads as assigned.
Qualifications
· Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
· Previous box truck, delivery, route driver, or commercial driving experience preferred.
· Ability to safely operate delivery equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules.
Physical Requirements
· Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to climb in and out of the truck throughout the day, while maintaining 3 points of contact.
· Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperature-controlled environments.
Other Requirements
· Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and required drug and alcohol testing programs.
· Must possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
· Must possess or be able to obtain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card). GoFresh, LLC will arrange and pay for the required physical examination for qualified candidates who do not currently hold a valid DOT Medical Card.
· Must successfully pass required background checks and meet customer and site-specific access requirements. This includes being able to access schools, military installations, government facilities, and other secure customer locations.
· Certain criminal convictions, driving violations, or other factors may affect eligibility for this position based on costumer, government, or site-access requirements.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
