Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in beverage recipe development and suggest menu enhancements to boost sales and guest enjoyment.
- Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless restaurant or banquet service during busy periods or special events.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Proven experience in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and craft beer expertise.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders promptly without sacrificing quality.
- Background in food service or restaurant environments with fine dining or banquet experience preferred.
- Ability to develop beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas for menu offerings.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest experiences.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in hospitality industry roles such as bar management or catering is a plus.
