We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Sales Manager, to LEAD our Digital Sales Department. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and people through our Digital Retail Center. This is a dynamic role that requires strong sales skills, time management, accurate assessment of customer purchase time frame, market knowledge, trade value assessment, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with employees and clients. We are looking for an Innovator with problem solving and digital technology skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives
- Continuous coaching and interaction with guests on the phone or through digital avenues
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, by understanding their needs and providing solutions, without customers in the dealership
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and potential areas for growth
- Collaborate with other department managers and teams to ensure customer & employee satisfaction
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Accountability for personal and team results
Skills:
- Proven experience in automotive sales management (with references)
- Strong business development skills with a track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills is a MUST!
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels
- Proficient in using VIN Solutions, or similar CRM software, (Route One, CDK, vAuto)
- Comfortable with all forms of communication including but not limited to; phone calls, communicating by text messaging, emails, for follow up
- Obsession with customer service
