Job Overview
As a Zipline Guide, you'll lead guests through our scenic canopy tours in beautiful Seven Devils, NC while ensuring every tour is safe, enjoyable, and memorable. Whether you're looking for your first outdoor recreation job or already love adventure tourism, we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely lead and guide guests through our zipline courses
- Conduct safety briefings and properly fit guests with harnesses and equipment
- Ensure all safety standards and operational procedures are followed at all times
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences
- Manage and engage groups of all sizes, including children and families
- Assist with daily course operations, equipment checks, and general upkeep
- Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic attitude throughout each tour
What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys working with people
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Comfortable leading and managing groups
- Dependable, responsible, and safety-focused
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable performing physical work in an outdoor environment and varying weather conditions
- Outdoor recreation, guiding, or customer service experience is a plus, but no previous zipline experience is required
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
Pay & Perks
- Training Pay: $11.00/hour
- Post-Training Pay: $14.00/hour plus tips
