We are looking for in our Direct Support Professionals who will:
- Ensure that our individuals are supported in a safe and supportive environment
- Supervise, assist, and coach our individuals in self-direction
- Empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals
- Demonstrate a passion for helping others in need.
- Assist with planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of our individuals.
- Planning and participating in community-based job sampling, volunteer opportunities, and outings for our individuals.
- Transport to and from the individual's residence and community outings
- Assist with medication administration
- Follow safety care strategies and techniques for de-escalation and redirection.
- Complete daily online documentation by the end of scheduled shifts.
- On time and ready to engage and support the individuals in our care.
Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
- Have at least one (1) year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be at least 18 years of age or older (required).
- Be able to attend onsite orientation training
- Must consent to background checks and clearances for employment
- opportunities.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
