Mechanical Construction Services, Inc. is family-owned, multi-state company that provides services in heavy-industrial plant repair and maintenance with a corporate office in Newark, Arkansas. Now hiring FT Accounts Payable Assistant. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook required. Accounts Payable experience preferred. Paying $16/hour with benefits. 90-Day Probation Period.
Responsible for collecting, entering, and paying vendor invoices. Responsible for reconciling invoices with purchase orders prior to entry. Will work in hand with the Accounts Payable Clerk to make sure all job site charges are accurate, entered, and paid in a timely manner. Position is full-time working 30-40 hours per week. Will answer phones and be back-up to AP Clerk, Office Manager, and others as needed.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Access.
· People-friendly, working in small office of 5 staff.
· Phone etiquette.
· Data entry.
· Background or understanding of business operations and accounting.
Pay will start at $16/hour for a 60-90 day evaluation period. After evaluation period such candidate will have paid holidays and eligibility in our company insurance and AFLAC plans. After one year of employment eligible for 401(k) and one week of vacation. Annual evaluations and raise potential.
