China Daily USA is seeking an experienced reporter for our New York office. The qualified candidate will produce daily news stories on the US and China, as well as feature stories and in-depth content.
Qualifications:
-- At least three years' experience with a daily newspaper or newswire covering hard news;
-- Bachelor's degree in journalism, media, or communications;
-- Demonstrated strong reporting and writing skills, including a flair for feature storytelling;
-- Strong knowledge of international news and financial markets, particularly those of the US and China;
-- Ability to generate story ideas;
-- Proficiency with the internet and social media, with the ability to shoot, edit, present, and appear in videos.
-- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment;
-- Willingness to work varied hours if required by news coverage;
-- Highly self-motivated and self-directed;
-- Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
This is a full-time position. The company will offer salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
