Overview

Duties
- Operate cash registers and POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions with precision, ensuring proper change and receipt issuance
- Assist customers with placing orders, answering questions about menu items or products, and upselling additional items to enhance their experience
- Prepare food items as needed, following food safety standards and maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas
- Maintain a tidy workspace by cleaning counters, equipment, and dining areas regularly to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Support the team with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and operating kitchen equipment when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants, retail sales, or food industry roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Food handling certification or prior food safety management experience is advantageous
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café setting is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
