Showroom Associate
This position is responsible for generating showroom sales for new and existing accounts; working with contractors and the public to help with selections for kitchen and bath needs; and creating effective working relationships with customers, associates and vendors while ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and qualifying every customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accurately and efficiently completes all sales transactions
- Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices, and prepares sales orders
- Handles inbound showroom sales calls to convert into sales
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with orders
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers
- Provides product demonstrations to customers on request
- Maintains solid product knowledge through continued education
- Works with outside sales representatives and Showroom Manager to keep products and literature current
- Maintains customer conversation and transaction information
- Contributes to the professional image of the showroom
- Attends trade shows as requested and available
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
