```Duties``` - Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards - Ensure the quality and presentation of sushi dishes meets the restaurant's standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area - Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for ingredient orders - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen - Assist in training new sushi chefs and kitchen staff ```Skills``` - Culinary skills: Strong knowledge and experience in sushi preparation techniques - Food preparation: Ability to handle and prepare raw fish and other ingredients for sushi dishes - Food service: Understanding of customer service principles and ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Food safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean and safe work area - Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant or sushi bar setting is preferred - Kitchen skills: Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, including knives, slicers, and other tools - Meal preparation: Ability to efficiently prepare multiple sushi dishes while maintaining quality and presentation - Cook skills: Experience in cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, or steaming is a plus - Knowledge of the food industry: Familiarity with current trends and ingredients used in sushi cuisine Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
