We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead Engineer to lead our Engineering team. who thrives equally at the workbench and in a leadership seat. This is a player-coach position. You’ll be doing real technical work alongside a small team of one to three engineers while setting the technical direction, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring projects are delivered to the high standards our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a small engineering team, creating a collaborative and growth-oriented environment

Take projects from conception to completion, including field measurements, design work, and final delivery, in close partnership with our Production and Field Service teams

Serve as the technical bridge between departments, establishing clear communication among them

Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, generators, and related equipment

Create and review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation

Continuously identify opportunity to improve processes, quality, and team capabilities

Qualifications:
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field required

Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience

Experience in an industrial or heavy equipment environment strongly preferred
Technical Skills
-
Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment

Proficiency with professional CAD software (AutoCAD, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics across multiple formats

Practical experience with industrial maintenance
