Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as caregivers. In this role, you will provide direct care and supervision to individuals with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and mental health needs. You will play an important role in supporting daily routines, ensuring safety, and promoting emotional well-being through consistent, trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 supervision and ensure client safety at all times
- Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, dressing, toileting, and meals
- Use trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques to support emotional regulation
- Implement structured routines and visual schedules to reduce anxiety and dysregulation
- Maintain accurate documentation of behaviors, incidents, and interventions
- Support clients in developing social, emotional, and coping skills
- Escort clients to appointments and activities, ensuring transportation safety
- Collaborate with mental health professionals, case managers, and families
- Maintain a clean, calming, and sensory-friendly environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant experience preferred)
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, trauma, or mental health needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
