About the Role
The Acewall scholars mentoring program serves to positively affect the lives of youth we are given the opportunity to work with. Our mentoring program requires dedicated individuals who possess the unique skill sets, mindsets, and abilities to guide the next generation.
As a Mentor, you will independently plan activities and experiences that serve to broaden your mentee’s life perspective and exposures based upon the goals established within their mentees' action plan.

- Cumberland County, VA
Key Responsibilities
- Youth Mentorship: Passively and actively act as a support system and vital resource for youth mentees spanning the age range of 5 to 20 years old.
- Activity Planning: Independently plan activities and exposure experiences tailored to broaden the mentee's perspective and align with their established action plan goals.
- Reporting: Complete and submit detailed monthly progress reports regarding client development and milestones.
- Administrative Duties: Attend and actively participate in virtual monthly staff meetings and mid-month reviews.
- Compliance: Ensure all required paperwork and administrative documentation are turned in by the expected deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma / HS Degree or higher.
- Background Check: Ability to successfully pass comprehensive background checks including DSS, National, State, and DMV screenings.
- Legal: Must have no barrier crimes on record.
- Transportation: Must possess reliable personal transportation for work-related travel.
- Mindset: A strong passion for youth resource development paired with a motivational, positive outlook and attitude.
Benefits & Perks
- Travel Support: Mileage reimbursement will be provided for all approved, work-related travel.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
