American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with 1+ year experience to provide in-home rehabilitation services across Vermont and New Hampshire.

Home health setting covering more than 70 towns across Vermont and New Hampshire

Full-time, day shift schedule

Average patient visits exceed 60 minutes, allowing for meaningful, individualized therapy

Work as part of a cohesive interdisciplinary patient-care team

Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Vermont and New Hampshire or an unencumbered compact license (license required if applicable)

Minimum 1 year of experience required

BS in Occupational Therapy or postgraduate Occupational Therapy Certification program required

Must have passed the National Registration Exam

BLS certification required

Home health setting experience preferred

Screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, and treat patients in their homes

Assess patient functional ability and provide direct treatments
-
Select and implement appropriate therapeutic modalities
-
Communicate and coordinate treatment activities with interdisciplinary team members

Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives
-
Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures

Work with broad independence while supported by a dedicated care team
