Hostess
Reports to: Dining Room Manager
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous Restaurant Experience preferred
Job Summary:
Responsible for being the friendly, welcoming face of the restaurant. Host/Hostess will assist in managing reservations, answering phone calls to the restaurant, greeting and seating Members and their Guests and provide an enjoyable dining experience by ensuring Membership satisfaction.
Job Tasks/Duties:
- Greet all patrons in the Dining Room and seat them at their tables
- Assist in managing the online reservation system and creating floorplans and the section
- Assist servers in preparing the Dining Room for service
- Maintains a safe, clean, and presentable work environment
- Fields phone calls related to reservations and to-go orders
- Answers questions and concerns from the Members and Guests
- Other appropriate duties as assigned
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
Criminal background check required.
