We are looking for a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and keeping equipment and facilities running at peak performance. What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining our facility and equipment to support safe and efficient operations on 1st shift. Responsibilities include:
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and building systems
- Maintain and operate facility systems including heating units and air compressors
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule
- Perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general building repairs
- Use our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders
- Maintain maintenance tools and ensure work areas stay clean and organized
- Assist with facility needs such as snow removal when required
- Follow all safety policies including OSHA, LOTO, and environmental procedures
- Work independently and with team members to complete projects
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Valid Indiana driver’s license
- Ability to provide personal hand tools
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting)
Work Schedule & Requirements:
- Full-time position
- Overtime required as needed
- Must be available for emergency maintenance situations including weather-related facility needs
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
