Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray guns and airless paint sprayers with precision and consistency.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as grinders, sanders, and buffing machines to achieve smooth finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols including proper respiratory protection.
Requirements
- Proven experience in collision repair or auto body refinishing
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, grinders, sanders, and buffing equipment.
- Skilled in surface preparation, masking techniques, sanding, painting, coating spray guns, and auto restoration processes.
- Knowledge of automotive paints, primers, coatings, and surface preparation materials.
- Ability to operate power tools safely while following all safety guidelines including respiratory protection measures.
- Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during repairs.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
