Seeking an experienced and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support a 22-year-old female in Beaverton. Approximately 31 hours per week. Pay is $25–$26 per hour, depending on experience. She is affectionate and enjoys old-time music, spending time on her iPad, and being with family. She is working on increasing her independence with ADLs/IADLs and would benefit from support with community outings, minor toileting assistance, hygiene tasks, medication administration, and emotional regulation. A reliable vehicle is required to transport her in the community. Experience with autism, personal care, and behavioral supports is strongly preferred. CNA experience is helpful but not required. There are cats in the home, and smoking is not permitted. The ideal DSP is dependable, patient, and experienced in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Schedule:
- Monday 9am-1pm
- Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 9am–6pm.
- Approximately 31 hours per week
Candidate Must have-
- Valid Drivers License and Insurance Coverage
- Communication skills requiring patience and understanding
- Ability to provide occasional assistance with daily tasks

As a Kangaroo Caregiver, you will provide in home assistance with activities of daily living (ADL’s) to support and maximize our client’s quality of life. Kangaroo Care delivers the training and resources to give our caregivers top-quality skills in a meaningful work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help plan and assist in preparing some meals, including serving, if necessary
- Assist with dressing, grooming
- Assist in daily living activities and needs
- Participate in life enriching activities
- A caregiver may assist with medication reminders
- Complete required shift notes and scheduling via our caregiver app
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Record and report changes in client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
