Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local company to search for a Maintenance Technician to join their team!
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Set up, install, and program new equipment, including PLCs and ladder logic systems.
- Minimize production downtime through timely repairs and proactive maintenance.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams.
- Complete electrical, plumbing, welding, cutting, and carpentry-related maintenance tasks as needed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment.
- Operate hoists, cranes, and other maintenance equipment safely.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation using Microsoft Excel.
- Support continuous production by responding quickly to equipment issues and maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or completion of a related trade school program required.
- 2–3 years of electrical and industrial wiring experience.
- 2–3 years of machine maintenance experience.
- 1 year of carpentry experience.
- 1 year of plumbing experience working with PVC, ABS, Black Iron, and PEX piping.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, industrial machinery, and building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and ladder logic.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift and carry tools and materials, and work in environments with dust, noise, chemicals, and hazardous equipment.
