Chase Fire, a top fire protection company in Paterson, is looking for a Shop Recharge Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that fire extinguishers are properly stocked, refilled, and tested for safety and compliance. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is eager to contribute to fire safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, test, recharge, refill, and service fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA standards and company procedures.

Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure fire extinguishers are fully operational and compliant.

Stock, organize, and maintain shop inventory, supplies, and equipment.

Accurately document completed inspections, maintenance, and service activities.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Follow all company safety policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications:

Previous experience servicing fire extinguishers, performing mechanical work, or working in a related field is preferred but not required.

W-96 Certificate of Fitness preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability and willingness to learn new skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures.

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment on a regular basis.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Must have valid drivers license.
