Job Title: Equipment Operator / Maintenance
Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent
Compensation: Hourly
Job Summary:

Daily golf course setup; walk mowing greens, rake bunkers, changing cups, tee service divot repairs
-
Operates Toro Mowers; greens, tees, fairway, roughs, and collars (different heights)

Operates all types of equipment; hand-held power tools, utility carts, mowers, tractors, etc.

Edger/Weed-eater/Power Trimmers/Chainsaws

Spray weeds, Pull weeds

Attention to detail
-
Ensures that the equipment working properly; refills fuel, cleans equipment daily, and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.

Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Requires knowledge and proficiency in the use of all golf course maintenance equipment.

Must be able to operate golf course maintenance equipment.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Must be able to work in the heat for extended periods.

Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.

Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.

Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, coworkers and members.

Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
