American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 5+ years experience and RRT licensure for a day shift cardiopulmonary position treating patients of all ages and acuity levels.

Hospital-based cardiopulmonary unit providing respiratory care and diagnostic procedures

Patient population spans all ages and all levels of acuity, including neonatal and pediatric patients

3x12-hour day shift schedule
-
Weekend rotation required
-
No call requirement
-
13-week assignment length
-
36 guaranteed hours per week (does not apply on holidays)

Minimum 5 years of experience required

Must be an RRT; CRT will not be considered

Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program

Active Colorado RRT license required (License required if applicable)

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP

Strong critical care and ventilator management skills required

Neonatal and pediatric experience required

Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)

Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all age groups and acuity levels

Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

CAPS registration through the Colorado Department of Human Services may be required and can take up to two weeks to obtain

Facility-offered housing may be available directly through the facility for travelers during their assignment
