Summer Lawns is looking for an experienced, dependable Lawn Fertilizer Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently while providing excellent service to our customers.
There is potential for continued employment with winter hours available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizer, weed control, and other lawn care treatments safely and accurately.
- Operate ride-on fertilizer spreaders and other professional lawn care equipment.
- Evaluate lawn conditions and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Maintain accurate service records.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience applying lawn fertilizer or weed control products.
- Experience operating ride-on fertilizer spreaders or like equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Preferred:
- Idaho Professional Applicator License (or ability to obtain one).
- Knowledge of turfgrass, weeds, insects, and lawn health.
