As an FCA Warehouse Associate, you'll be a key part of how we deliver on our promise to customers — handling everything from receiving and shipping to equipment upkeep and quality inspections, all with an eye toward getting it right the first time.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the safe receipt and storage of incoming material for order fulfillment including UPS, Estes and any daily distributors.
- To assist in receiving all materials with the computer systems.
- To assist in unloading materials delivered by outside vendors at warehouse location.
- To report any damage or shortages noting discrepancies in writing to the Purchasing Department.
- To ensure timely dispatch of material for shipments.
- To prepare UPS/BTS freight shipments by job packing and palletizing each customer order with care ensuring safe delivery.
- To prepare manifest for daily shipment reconciliation.
- To prepare samples for shipment to customers.
- To process all sample orders efficiently and with urgency.
- To prepare samples for shipment to customers with computer systems.
- To maintain proper inventory levels of hard surface samples, and replenish as necessary.
- To maintain proper inventory levels of shipping supplies and order through ULINE accordingly.
- To assist in Monthly Inventory and research any discrepancies that may be found.
- To maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe and workable condition.
- To maintain high standards for open communication and teamwork.
Position Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License.
- 18 years of age.
- Live within 20 miles of Shorewood, Illinois.
- Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
