Fire Truck and Ambulance Technician – Emergency Vehicle Technician
Job Summary: Our team is currently looking for a technician to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. The primary function of this position is to service, diagnose, and repair emergency apparatus. Including but not limited to engine, drivetrain, suspension, fire pump, electronics, and other components of the apparatus. This position will work at the Pisgah Forest, NC location.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have ability to perform preventative and repair maintenance on various types of fire trucks, ambulances, and apparatus
- EVT certification a huge plus
- Three (3) plus years on the job experience performing service and repair on vehicles or equipment
- Must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use
- We are looking for quality minded persons that can deliver quality service to our customer
- CDL Class B driver’s license or ability to obtain one is preferred
- Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check

Keep In Mind: Some of the best technicians we have and have trained have a background working on other big equipment like tractors, heavy machinery, and over the road trucks. Don’t be shy if you have limited experience working on emergency vehicles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,500.00 - $68,000.00 per year
