As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our operations team and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquid recycling facility. This individual will lead a team of up to 10 employees performing a variety of production activities, including chemical processing, material separation, product destruction, equipment operation, and manual disassembly.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in manufacturing, industrial processing, recycling, or waste management. They are comfortable working on the production floor, coaching employees, solving operational issues, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a production team of up to 10 employees.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities.
- Train employees on operating procedures, safety practices, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.
- Monitor production efficiency and implement improvements to maximize productivity.
- Coordinate chemical processing operations and material handling activities.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment.
- Work closely with management to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, industrial processing, recycling, waste management, chemical processing, or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience operating industrial machinery and equipment.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety procedures and OSHA standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment around machinery, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
