Rising Stars Development League (RSDL) is a youth sports development program dedicated to building confidence, developing skills, and strengthening community across San Diego County.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and passionate Youth T-Ball Coach to join our team for the Fall season. The ideal candidate has a strong background in baseball or softball and most importantly knows how to make the game fun and engaging for young children ages 3–7.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead structured 30-minute practice sessions for children ages 3–7
- Create age-appropriate, fun, and engaging drills that teach foundational baseball skills
- Split the group into two teams for a fun, organized game format
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and high-energy environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and program staff
- Arrive prepared and on time for each session
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience coaching youth baseball, t-ball, or softball (required)
- Experience working with young children ages 3–7 (required)
- Strong ability to teach basic baseball/softball skills in a fun, accessible way
- Ability to manage and engage a group of young children
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
