What You'll Do:

Design, develop, modify, and evaluate FPGA-based electronic systems and hardware architectures
-
Lead FPGA design and implementation for embedded control systems using AMD Vivado development tools
-
Define hardware/software/FPGA partitioning and system-level architectures

Develop interfaces for sensors, actuators, industrial peripherals, and control systems
-
Perform system analysis, hardware evaluations, and experimental testing to validate designs
-
Collaborate with systems, software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions

Evaluate components, technologies, and suppliers to support product development initiatives
-
Support system integration activities and troubleshoot complex hardware and embedded system issues
-
Contribute to product development throughout the full engineering lifecycle
What You'll Bring:
-
8+ years of experience in FPGA design, embedded systems, or electrical engineering
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
-
5+ years of experience developing FPGA solutions using AMD Vivado tools
-
5+ years of experience programming and debugging FPGA designs using SystemVerilog
-
5+ years of experience performing embedded hardware debugging and system integration
What Sets You Apart:

Semiconductor capital equipment design experience

Proven experience developing complex electronic systems and control architectures

Experience with electrical power distribution systems and industrial equipment

Knowledge of PCB design processes and hardware development lifecycles

Understanding of Systems Engineering methodologies, including the Systems "VEE" model

Experience integrating equipment into customer manufacturing facilities

Strong leadership and technical mentoring capabilities

Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines while maintaining project ownership and accountability

Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed
