Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills and experience in custodial or janitorial roles, ensuring a hygienic environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe, welcoming atmosphere through meticulous cleaning and maintenance practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting all designated areas to uphold sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, common areas, hallways, restrooms, and administrative spaces in accordance with health regulations.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention.
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials when necessary.
- Support facility upkeep by participating in deep cleaning projects like carpet shampooing or floor buffing as scheduled.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the facility remains organized, safe, and hygienic at all times.
