Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents for real estate closings
- Organize and maintain document management systems
- File legal documents with the court and other relevant agencies
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Provide clerical support including photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Experience:
- Knowledge of Qualia software preferred, but not required
- Experience with Real Estate transactions required
- Proven experience working as a paralegal or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using document management systems and legal research databases
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in transcribing and proofreading documents
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and regulations
