Key Responsibilities include the following:
- Answering phone calls.
- Scheduling and calendaring of Hearings, Depositions, Conferences, Mediations, etc.
- Drafting of pleadings and communication to appropriate party, gathering and complying with discovery requests, preparing trial folders, etc.
- Preparing attorneys for hearings/events.
- Handling invoices.
- Filing court documents electronically, knowledge of e-filing is mandatory.
- Interacting with clients, attorneys and the courts in a Professional manner.
- Assists attorneys with the preparation of responses to discovery, including meeting with clients when necessary
- Assists with preparation of cases for trial
- Motivated team player with solid organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualifications Must have a minimum of 1-3 years legal experience in Personal Injury.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe. Experience with Case Management Software (Time Matters Software a plus).
- Manage Social Media
- Pay range $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 depending on experience Full time position / In-person position.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
