Duties
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing the cash drawer at shift end
- Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the retail area is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised
- Manage retail store product knowledge to inform customers about products and promotions
- Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via digital communication channels
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and participating in stocking procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is preferred
- Supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and sales techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Experience in retail sales transactions, upselling, stock management, and cashiering preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer responsibly and perform retail math efficiently
