Currently Hiring For Skilled Tradesperson
Gardner Building Group is a South Florida general contracting firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a Skilled Tradesperson to join our team — someone with hands-on experience across carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, and general renovations.
Responsibilities / Overview
- Perform skilled carpentry, drywall, light electrical, plumbing, and general renovation tasks.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, ensuring proper care of equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in setup, cleanup, and daily project support.
- Work independently or with team to complete tasks on time.
Required / Preferred Skills
We are looking for candidates with the ability to perform the majority or all of the following tasks:
- Hang doors
- Install baseboard & door casing
- Proficient in reading a tape measure for precise measurements
- Drywall patches & finishing
- Painting
- Light framing
- Light electrical experience (install fixtures, outlets, switches, wiring, troubleshooting )
- Light plumbing experience (install fixtures, install p-traps, below grade/topout rough-in, troubleshooting)
- Strong knowledge of renovation/construction techniques and materials
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Thinking outside the box
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience working self sufficiently & strong communication skills
Disclamer
This is not an entry level position, we are looking for someone with 3-5 years of relevant trade/construction experience.
