Location: SAAGE Adult Day Program, ( On-site )
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Support participants in program & community,
- Plan and facilitate engaging person-centered activities.
- Encourage independence, self-advocacy, and informed decision-making.
- Assist with daily living activities, including mobility, meals, hygiene, and personal care.
- Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and Person-Centered Plans (PCPs).
- Document participant progress and daily activities accurately and timely.
- Provide community-based instruction and job-site support as needed.
- Follow behavior support plans and maintain a safe environment.
- Build positive relationships with participants, families, employers, and community partners.
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and maintain certifications.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- DOJ Fingerprint Clearance
- CPR & First Aid Certification (training provided)
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Communicates effectively and builds positive relationships.
- Is organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Is comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
- Exercises sound judgment while working independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Lift and assist up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, and assist participants throughout the day.
- Work in office, program, and community settings.
- Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
