*Job Summary*
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, including experience with various types of trucks such as semi trucks, 53 foot dry van. Looking for manual 10 speed drivers with more than 2 years experience. Clean driving record. This position is for independent contractors. Willing to hire couple team drivers. We are a new trucking company that are looking for drivers to grow with the business.
*Duties*
- Operate and drive a tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo transported.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations while on the road.
- Manage route planning to optimize delivery efficiency while minimizing delays.
*Experience*
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Experience with route driving and knowledge of freight handling procedures is essential.
- Previous experience operating flatbed trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
