Position Overview
We’re hiring a Lube Technician to support our Express Service team with fast, accurate maintenance services and quality inspections. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing the job right, works efficiently, and wants a clear path to grow within a dealership service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance services including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Complete multi-point inspections and document results accurately
- Replace wiper blades, bulbs, cabin/engine air filters, batteries, and other light services as assigned
- Mount/balance tires and perform basic tire services as needed
- Identify maintenance needs and communicate recommendations through the service process
- Maintain clean, accurate repair orders and follow shop procedures
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer guidelines for quality and workmanship
- Work collaboratively with advisors and technicians to support efficient shop flow
Qualifications
- Prior lube/express technician experience preferred (dealership experience is a plus)
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and follow processes
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality or safety
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and staying productive throughout the day
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods (lift up to 50 lbs as needed)
- Tools for basic maintenance work preferred (shop support and training provided)
