Duties
- Evaluate patients and provide comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately following clinical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and caregivers—to coordinate care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently to ensure up-to-date medical documentation and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, post-treatment care, and injury prevention strategies to support ongoing recovery.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation, medical documentation standards, and outpatient or inpatient care protocols.
- Skilled in manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physiotherapy interventions.
- Experience operating medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments and managing electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and discharge instructions while adhering to clinical documentation standards.
- Prior experience in skilled nursing facilities, home health settings, acute care environments or outpatient clinics is highly valued.

Pay: $85.00 per hour
