Are you experiencing burn out from working in a chain pharmacy? Look no further! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care, particularly in settings such as long-term care (LTC). Employees at Professional pharmacy work hand in hand providing exceptional customer and clinical service to all who support the pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Data entry.
- Answering the phone and professionally assisting providers and patients with questions and concerns.
- Greeting customers and checking out patients at the point of sale counter.
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Perform medication intake processes, including verifying prescriptions and patient information.
- Packing medications for ALF and group homes.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and medication therapy management.
- Uphold compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
Experience
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
