We're looking for experienced childcare professionals AND candidates who have gained childcare experience through babysitting, daycare, camps, schools, youth programs, coaching, or caring for children in other settings.
Earn $19–$22 Per Hour + Perks

Opportunities That Fit Different SchedulesFull-Time Nanny & Babysitting
Monday–Friday
Assignments available throughout the day and early evening.
Great for candidates seeking consistent weekday work without having to independently search for nanny families.
Part-Time & After-School
Looking for work that fits around classes or another commitment?
Afternoon and evening opportunities are available Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend assignments.
What Does a Jovie Babysitter Do?
You'll spend your day doing what great caregivers do best—keeping children safe, engaged, happy, and cared for.
Depending on the children's ages, your shift might include:
- Playing games
- Arts and crafts
- Reading books
- Outdoor activities
- Helping with homework
- Preparing children's snacks and simple meals
- Bottles, diapering, and naps for younger children
- Following family routines
- Cleaning up toys and children's activity areas
- Creating activities instead of relying on screens
You'll care for children ranging from approximately 6 weeks to 13 years old.
Your Experience May Already Qualify You
You don't necessarily need to have held the title "Nanny."
We'd love to hear from candidates with experience as a:
Babysitter Nanny Daycare Teacher Preschool Teacher Camp Counselor Teacher's Assistant Youth Program Staff Coach After-School Counselor Infant Caregiver Childcare Provider
Students studying Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or related fields may also find this position especially valuable for gaining hands-on experience working with children.

- Reliable and punctual
- Patient, positive, and engaging
- Comfortable working with different age groups
- Able to communicate professionally with parents
- Willing to learn and complete required training
- Comfortable working independently in family homes
Requirements
- Childcare experience preferred
- Three childcare or professional references
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to families throughout the local service area
- CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
