We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven, and highly organized Independent Living (IL) Director to lead the daily operations, resident experience, and community life at Lighthouse Pointe!
In this dynamic leadership role, you will be the heartbeat of our independent living community. You will oversee overall campus hospitality, coordinate resident services, direct administrative and support staff, and foster a warm, active, and welcoming atmosphere. Operational Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Independent Living campus, ensuring seamless service delivery, high resident satisfaction, and an exceptional standard of living.
Resident Relations & Hospitality: Serve as the primary point of contact for independent living residents and their families; address inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and build a strong sense of community.
Team Development: Direct, mentor, and empower campus support staff (including front desk/concierge, housekeeping, and maintenance leads), fostering a culture of teamwork and hospitality.
Life Enrichment & Wellness Partnership: Collaborate closely with Dining, Maintenance, and Activity/Wellness teams to coordinate engaging events, lifestyle programs, and physical wellness offerings tailored to independent seniors.
Occupancy & Transitions: Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to welcome new residents, oversee the move-in/orientation process, and support ongoing resident retention initiatives.
Budget & Administrative Oversight: Assist in managing the operational budget, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance needs to maintain pristine campus standards.
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in Senior Living (Independent Living or Assisted Living), Hospitality, Property Management, or Resort/Club Management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
Leadership Style: Energetic, approachable, and highly visible leader with a strong customer service and hospitality mindset.
Communication & Tech: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and senior living management/EHR software.
