As a Private Process Server, you will be responsible for delivering legal documents (summons, complaints, subpoenas, writs, etc.) to individuals or businesses in accordance with Virginia law. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
This is a part-time, W-2 position with flexible scheduling.
Serve legal documents to individuals and businesses within assigned areas.
Maintain accurate, detailed records of service attempts and outcomes.
Prepare and return affidavits/proofs of service in compliance with legal standards.
Communicate promptly with the office regarding case status and completion.
Follow company procedures and Virginia Rules of Civil Procedure.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation.
Smartphone with GPS, camera, and data plan.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.
Familiarity with legal documents or prior process serving experience preferred but not required (training provided).
Must pass a background check.
Pay: $14.00 per hour
