Job Summary
The Charge Nurse plays a critical leadership role within the nursing team, overseeing patient care and ensuring that high standards of nursing practice are maintained. This position requires a dedicated professional who is skilled in various areas of healthcare, The Charge Nurse will coordinate patient care activities, mentor nursing staff, and serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Duties
- Supervise and support nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including dermal fillers when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with health standards and regulations within the facility.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Address any urgent care needs promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in a charge nurse or leadership role preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and spinal taps competently.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
