Our primary customers include leading semi-truck manufacturers, as well as aftermarket consumers seeking high-quality security products for light trucks and 4x4 vehicles. Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate automated key-cutting equipment. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in our production process. If you enjoy hands-on work and thrive in a structured manufacturing environment, this is a great opportunity—plus, you’ll enjoy a consistent 4-day workweek with every Friday off! (Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated key-cutting machines efficiently
- Scan and verify work orders for accuracy
- Select and load correct key blanks and magazines based on work orders
- Maintain detailed knowledge of key types, part numbers, and customer specifications
- Perform machine startup, shutdown, and changeovers as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance (daily, weekly, etc.) on equipment
- Inspect finished keys using tools such as optical comparators and calipers
- Sort and distribute completed keys and documentation to internal teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and accurate inventory of key blanks
- Uphold quality standards to ensure products meet specifications
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours with breaks)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfort working in both shop and office environments
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and basic office tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
