About Agratronix
Agratronix is a growing agricultural products company that manufactures, imports, assembles, and distributes products to farm, ranch, retail, and industrial customers throughout the U.S. and internationally. We are a hands-on, fast-moving company looking for someone who takes pride in organization, accuracy, teamwork, and getting products shipped correctly and on time.
Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Operations Lead to help oversee daily warehouse operations. This person will assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, picking and packing orders, organizing products, directing warehouse employees, and keeping the warehouse running efficiently.
This is a leadership role for someone who can work alongside the team while also helping manage the day-to-day flow of the warehouse. Major business decisions will still be handled by ownership/management, but this person will be expected to take initiative, solve daily warehouse issues, and help improve processes.
This role has the opportunity to grow into a larger warehouse management position as the company continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
· Help oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, labeling, and order fulfillment.
· Help coordinate customer orders shipping out between Customer service, Shipping department, and the Production supervisor.
· Assist in directing warehouse employees and keeping the team focused, productive, and accountable.
· Make sure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
· Help maintain accurate inventory counts and support cycle counts/physical inventory.
· Organize warehouse space, product locations, racking, pallets, and work areas.
· Help receive inbound containers, trucks, UPS/FedEx/LTL shipments, and vendor deliveries.
· Check incoming products for accuracy, damage, labeling, and correct quantities.
· Work with management to identify inventory shortages, shipping issues, damaged product, or process problems.
· Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and organized.
· Help train new warehouse employees on procedures and expectations.
· Support process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce mistakes, and improve warehouse flow.
· Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklift/pallet jack, if applicable.
· Communicate clearly with ownership, office staff, customer service, purchasing, and sales when issues arise.
· Help maintain a culture of accountability, urgency, teamwork, and quality.
Qualifications
· Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience required.
· Prior team lead, assistant manager, supervisor, or warehouse leadership experience preferred.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work hands-on with the warehouse team, not just manage from a desk.
· Comfortable giving direction and holding people accountable in a professional way.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a busy environment.
· Basic computer skills required.
· Experience with inventory systems, ERP systems, shipping software, UPS/FedEx, or LTL freight is a plus.
· Forklift experience preferred, or willingness to be trained.
· Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse products as needed.
· Dependable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of daily responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate
· Hands-on and not afraid to jump in.
· Organized and detail oriented.
· Calm under pressure.
· Good with people but firm when needed.
· Able to follow direction while also taking initiative.
· Focused on accuracy, cleanliness, and efficiency.
· Interested in growing with the company.
· Comfortable working in a family-owned/growing business environment where priorities can shift quickly.
What We Offer
· Full-time position with a stable and growing company.
· Hands-on leadership role with direct access to ownership/management.
· Competitive pay based on experience.
· Benefits package available, depending on company policy.
· Positive team environment with room to make a real impact.
