Our established, growing practice needs upbeat, people-focused individuals to help our patients have the best possible experience — whether that's the moment they walk through our door or the moment they call in. We're hiring for two connected roles: Front Desk and Call Center, both built around one thing — exceptional customer service.
This position is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, thrives on multitasking, and wants to be part of a team of professionals. We offer the stability of a career in healthcare with a healthy work/life balance!
Prior healthcare or medical office experience is a plus, but not required. We offer paid training for the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning — welcome to the Strong Vision Center Exceptional Standard of Care!
Where You Could Work
Front Desk — You're the first face our patients see. You set the tone for their visit, keep things running smoothly, and make sure every patient feels welcome and taken care of from check-in to check-out.
Call Center — You're part of a collaborative team of 2–3 coordinators handling incoming calls, processing contact lens orders, following up with doctors on patient requests, and re-engaging patients who need to schedule. It's fast-paced, team-oriented, and a great fit for someone who's great on the phone and enjoys problem-solving.
Many of our team members cross-train across both roles as part of their career growth with us — so wherever you start, there's room to grow.
Some of Your Duties
- Making sure patients feel welcome and well taken care of, in person or on the phone
- Pleasantly answering questions, addressing or documenting concerns, and scheduling appointments for existing and potential patients
- Answering incoming calls, taking messages, and completing patient outreach (including re-engagement calls)
- Processing contact lens orders and following up with doctors on patient requests
- Reviewing and organizing patient medical charts for accuracy and authenticity
- Assisting with pre-testing, chart documentation, and troubleshooting prescription issues to set doctors and patients up for a successful appointment
- Assisting in opening and closing the office
- Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
- Participating in consistent cross-training for optimal career growth (offered and expected)
