Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification, with experience working in K-12 settings
- Proficiency in conducting initial assessments and re-evaluations for special education eligibility
- Strong familiarity with evaluation tools, IEP processes, and Minnesota’s education standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Capability to work independently and efficiently manage caseloads
- Experience with remote/virtual service delivery is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students per district requirements
- Interpret assessment results, write comprehensive reports, and provide recommendations for student support
- Participate actively in student support and eligibility meetings, either onsite or virtually
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to foster student growth
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and district regulations
