Description:
Position Summary
A junior accountant helps maintain the financial health of an organization by handling routine accounting
tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoice processing, and report preparation. They work under
the supervision of senior accountants or accounting managers and gain hands-on experience in financial
operations.
Primary Responsibilities

Ledger & Data Entry – Post journal entries and ensure financial records are continuously updated in the general ledger.

Accounts Payable & Receivable- Process vendor invoices, issue customer bills, and track payments to guarantee timely processing.

Reconciliation – Cross-referencing internal financial ledgers with bank statements to spot and resolve discrepancies.

Assist the Controller with the maintenance of fixed asset records and corresponding depreciation and amortization schedules.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience

BSc/BA in Accounting

Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

Knowledge of accounting concepts and GAAP

Strong written and verbal communication skills
