We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal policies.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations for the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, accounts payable automation, and vendor payments and Payroll processing using Odoo systems and ADP related.
- Handle accounts receivable related processes.
- Maintain and update accounting systems like Odoo to ensure seamless data entry and reporting.
- Conduct journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and month-end closing activities with precision and timeliness.
- Support internal controls and compliance .
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation, supporting schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining strict adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Extensive accounting experience within corporate or public accounting environments.
- Experiences with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Odoo, ADP.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial compliance standards including SOX controls.
- Demonstrated ability in Excel data analysis—using formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions—to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account reconciliation and journal entries.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes including invoice processing.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
